Getting around Elmwood Park
The roads, the rails, the runways.
Elmwood Park is small but well-connected, and that shapes every charter we plan out of it.
The roads. Grand Avenue cuts the village on the diagonal and is the fast line to O'Hare and River Road. North Avenue (IL-64) and Harlem Avenue (IL-43) form the busy north and east edges; Belmont, Fullerton and Thatcher carry the local traffic. From any of them you're minutes to I-90 (Kennedy), I-290 (Eisenhower) and I-294 (Tri-State).
The rails. The Elmwood Park Metra station on the Milwaukee District West line runs about 25 minutes to Union Station. Great for a solo commute — but for a group with luggage, an early flight, or a night that runs past the last train, a door-to-door coach beats juggling the schedule.
The runways. O'Hare (ORD) is roughly 7 miles and 15–20 minutes northwest. Midway (MDW) is a straight run down the Eisenhower. Both are core to what we do, with live flight tracking and built-in buffers.
